Good training and good attitudes go a long way.
Branch Manager Jacksonville, Florida

Buddy knows best

I first heard about Konecranes from an old Navy buddy who said what a great company Konecranes was and suggested that I join him in the company. That was back in 1998. I started as a service technician in Cleveland, Ohio and then moved on to Raleigh, North Carolina. My first job here in Jacksonville was as a lead inspector, after which I progressed from service supervisor to service manager and now branch manager. It’s been great.

HR and Administration Manager

Think the future

I’m an HR and administration manager at our Konecranes country head office in Pinthong, Thailand. My responsibilities cover the full set of tasks relating to HR and administration, and also safety issues. I’m also responsible for heading my team. It’s especially satisfying when employees get in touch about training opportunities and want to see how the world is outside our local area. I love to take on challenges, and its great to see others do the same!

Service Technician Bergen

Running smooth

I’ve been a service technician at Konecranes Bergen for close to six years now.  I do crane maintenance, commissioning and modifications, and also function as a supervisor in some larger projects. The freedom that comes with this job is amazing. One day I might be commissioning, whereas the next day I’m troubleshooting via PLC controls. Troubleshooting is my favorite line of work.
